The Duke of Edinburgh Award has confirmed that they are delighted for this initiative to fulfil the volunteering module of any bronze, silver or gold medal.

International Baccalaureate

Becoming an EDCLUB Movement mentor is ideal for students studying for their IB, as one of the IB’s core three elements is “Creativity, action, service (CAS)”.

This requires students to take part in a range of activities and projects which involve:

  • real, purposeful activities, with significant outcomes

  • personal challenge

  • thoughtful consideration such as planning, reviewing progress, reporting

  • reflection on outcomes and personal learning

EDLCUB provides all of these, and mentors have successfully used their EDCLUB experience as their CAS project.
